Purply Rib Hat

I actually made this hat a long time ago, but I decided I should share it now.

Materials:
-4.5 mm circular needles or dpns
-Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Dark Orchid
-yarn or tapestry needle

Abbreviations:
k- knit
CO-cast on
BO- bind off
p- purl
sts- stitches
k2tog- knit 2 together

Instructions:
CO 60 sts.
Join in the round.
Work in k2, p2 rib until work measures 7.5 inches.
K2tog all sts until there are only 20 sts left.
BO all sts.

Finishing:
Weave in your ends.
Sew up the top of the hat.
