Pink Punk Legwarmers

Pink yarn + a bored me = openwork legwarmers.



Materials:
-US size 10.5 (6.5 mm) straight knitting needles
-1 skein Red Heart Super Saver yarn in Shocking Pink
-yarn or tapestry needle

Abbreviations:
sts- stitches
CO- cast on
BO- bind off
k- knit
p- purl
yo- yarn over
sl- slip st
psso- pass slipped st over
garter st- k all rows
rep- repeat

Legwarmers (make 2):
CO 30 sts.
Work in garter st for 4 rows.
Row 5:  * yo, sl 1, k1, psso * rep from * to end of row.
Row 6:  p all sts.
Work rows 5 and 6 until work measures 15 inches.  If you ended on a purl row, jut go ahead and purl it and work the following rows:
Next row:  * yo, k1, yo, sl 1, k1, psso * rep from * to end of row
Next row:  p all sts.
Repeat these rows 5 and 6 3 times.
BO all sts.

Finishing:
Weave in your ends.
Sew up the side seams.

  3. cute pattern can you help me create thigh high leg warmers? I am very petite, it doesn't take much yarn, and I need them for ballet class, as I injured my hamstring and I need to keep my muscles warm. Love your blog
