Ouran High School Ankle Socks

Here's what happens when you have an otaku who has an abundance of yarn and an addiction to sock-knitting.  Ouran High School ankle socks!

Here's a pattern to make socks that match the boys' uniform.

Materials:
-4mm dpns (set of four)
-Bernat Baby Yarn in Blue
-Yarn or tapestry needle

Instructions (make 2):

Cast on 44 sts (11 on needle 1, 22 on needle 2, and 11 on needle 3)
Knit k1, p1 rib for 4 rows
Then, knit all sts for 4 rows
Knit all sts off needle 1.
Work a short row heel with 6 slipped sts on each side.
Knit all sts off needle 3
Knit all sts until work measures approximately 5-6 inches from the end of the heel
First Row:
-Needle 1: K to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1
-Needle 2: SSK, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1
-Needle 3: SSK, knit to last 3 sts, k2tog, k1
Second Row:
-Knit all sts
Repeat these 2 rounds 5 more times (12 rows total)
Knit the next round, then cast off in knit stitch.

There you have your own Ouran High School Ankle Socks!
