Fuzzball Ornaments

What's pink and fuzzy?  Pink fuzz.  What's blue and fuzzy?  Pink fuzz holding its breath.
Anyway, I think this pattern might have changed a little bit in between making the pink ornament and the blue ornament, because I didn't write down the pattern for the pink one.  I think they still turned out pretty well, all things considered.



Materials:
-4mm double-pointed needles (set of 4)
-Fuzzy yarn of any kind
-Yarn or tapestry needle
-Cotton or poly-blend stuffing
-One ornament hook for each ornament you are making

Abbreviations-
sts- stitches
k- knit
m1- make 1 st by picking up and knitting the bar in between the 2 sts
k2tog- knit 2 together
CO- cast on
BO- bind off
dpn- double-pointed needles

Instructions:
CO 9 sts.
Divide between 3 dpns.
Join in the round.
k all sts for one round.
Next round:  Needle 1:  k1, m1, k1, m1, k1.  Needles 2 and 3:  As needle 1.
Every other round, m1 st in between all sts until there are 31 sts on each needle, for a total of 93 sts.
Work 3 rounds k all sts.
Next round:  Needle 1:  * k2tog * to last st, k1.  Needles 2 and 3:  As needle 1.
k all sts for the next round.
Next round:  Needle 1:  k2tog all sts.  Needles 2 and 2:  As needle 1.
Repeat this round every other round until there are only 2 sts left on each needle.
BO all sts.

Finishing:
Stuff it and sew it up, leaving a small length of yarn on the bottom end.
Attatch it to the ornament hook.
