Berry Hat

This is using the same kind of yarn I used to make the Berry Fun Scarf (which actually turned out to be quite an epic fail).

-US size 10 (6 mm) circular needles (29 in)
-Lion Brand Homespun yarn in Baroque
-Tapestry needle

sts- stitches
k- knit
p- purl
k2tog- knit 2 together
CO- cast on
BO- bind off

Gauge:  10 sts x 10 rows = 3.5 in x 1.75 in

CO 62 sts.
Join in the round.
Work in k1, p1 rib for 12 rows.
K all sts until work measures 8 inches.
k2tog all sts until there are only 15 sts left.
BO all sts.

Sew up the top of the hat.
Weave in your ends.

  1. I made this hat for myself and my little sister also really loved it. How would I adjust the pattern to fit a 4 year old child's head?

  2. About how big (like in inches) do you want to make it?
